“Stop getting off topic. What’s up with you two?” he said with narrowed eyes.
“Sergio and I...” He covered his face with his hands. “I don’t know how it happened.”
“How what happened?”
“We’ve been, yeah…We’ve been, seeing each other. Dating. I mean, really he’s my boyfriend now.”
“You’re fucking kidding me.”
He shook his head, his hands dropping to his lap.
“I’m not even mad about you being gay. I’m mad because I’m your best friend and you didn’t tell me.”
“I’m not gay, Tyrone.”
“Man, you serious? You just told me Sergio’s your boyfriend. You know he’s a dude, right? He’s a man. He’s got a dick. That’s makes you gay, homes.”
“Look.” He cleared his throat. “I know what you’re saying. I hear you. It’s just Sergio. Like I said, I don’t know how it happened. But yeah. But only him, you know? I haven’t been hiding anything from you. You know I couldn’t do that. Wouldn’t. If I was gay you know you’d know it.”
“Let me understand you. You’re NOT gay, but you’re gay for him?”
“Yeah.”
“Okay. No, for real, I get that. I heard about that. That kind of shit can happen. You can be gay for someone, but not super, for real gay. I know what you mean”.
“Yeah.”
“So he turned you gay? Just for him?”
“Honestly, I don’t even know man. I’m still figuring it all out myself.”
“You know I like Sergio. You know I do. But this – I wasn’t expecting. It was that dare, wasn’t it? I knew his dare was a little gay. Who dares another dude to fuck a toy while they video tape it? I mean that’s got to be a little gay, right? But Sergio doesn’t even look gay. That’s what really fucks with my head.”
“How do you look gay?” He asked.
“You know how they look. Come on, man.”
