Definitely check out this well written, on-point article by Lux Alptraum, Why Can’t We Accept Straight Men Who Have Gay Sex? .
I especially appreciate how she points out that, “in removing some of the division between sexual behaviors and romantic attractions, we may have inadvertently oversimplified our understanding of how humans process and pursue both sex and love.” I think she hit it right on the bull’s eye there.
In my stories, there’s lots of instances where sexual behavior isn’t aligned with romantic attraction and vice versa. Sometimes it will eventually get in alignment, others time it won’t. That’s life!
Again, some people are fluid and boxing people in simply always doesn’t support accuracy as far as these types of things are concerned.
