Unique Infatuation (From Storm of Roses)

Your power is so immense
I’ve overflowed
Short-circuited
My engine has died
But like a car to a tow
I remain anchored to you
Moving after you
Not by my own feet but
By the power within you
Magnetic
Electric energy
Moving after you
Daydreaming of you
Night-wishing for you
A beer in your left, vodka in your right
Such filthy words you say
Curse here, curse there, spitting over there
Full of hiccups
Yet it doesn’t bother me at all
You are so immense
My spirit aches to know you
My heart knows where you stand
But has no base of its own
